Jewel Trendz LLC, is currently seeking a full-time employee for the position of, Pave Diamond Setter.

This notice is intended to notify all current employees of the opening of the position of Pave Diamond Setter. Jewel Trendz intends to enter the process of hiring a full time employee for this position through obtaining a Permanent Labor Certification for a non-U.S. citizen. This position is however, open for applications from all qualified Jewel Trendz’s employees. 

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

• Review all incoming job envelopes received for the necessary setting work;
• Verify merchandise in envelope matches job envelope description;
  
• Organize jobs according to due dates;
  
• Responsible for recognizing Pave style settings;
  
• Set diamonds or gemstones utilizing a French cut setting style with proficiency;
  
• Set diamonds or gemstones utilizing additional setting styles (ie. Center Stone Setting,
  
• Preset Setting, Illusion Setting, Channel Setting, Bezel Setting);
  
• Set diamonds and gemstones of various shapes and sizes in jewelry mountings, according to specifications;
  
• Prepare diamond setting with speed and accuracy;
  
• Follow brand specifications for tools, technical procedures, work assignments and standards of quality;
  
• Ensure proper layout and accessibility of all tools and equipment;
  
• Maintain a clean and organized daily work area;
  
• Follow equipment safety procedures;
  
• Maintain equipment in good working order through proper use and cleaning.
  

The right candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Must have 10 years’ experience in diamond setting;
  
• Must be proficient in using French Cut, U-Cut, micro pave techniques;
  
• Must have experience with GRS equipment;
  
• Must be able to work constantly using magnification;
  
• Must have experience setting center stones and larger diamonds;
  
• Must be able to replace/repair rings with missing stones;
  
• Must have general experience and knowledge of all diamond setting styles and techniques;
  
• Strong attention to detail;
  
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced work environment where priorities change quickly;
  
• Ability to work assigned schedule on a regular basis including overtime when needed;
  
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, business contacts, and customers in a courteous and professional manner;
  
• Stamina to sit for over eight hours and focus on small detailed work;
  
• High level of dexterity and focus to handle small parts;
  
• Ability to work in a shop environment (i.e. elevated noise, steamer, minor dust, etc.).
  

This position is offered full-time, with a salary starting at $57,262 per year. Please submit all
